Originally founded by Gordon Kindlien and Earl Nystrom in 1946, Ryan began as the K&N Machine Shop in Kindlien’s backyard. The pair had a desire to strike out after the war and establish a high quality general machine shop. After more than 60 years the name and brand now include a wide range of products like aerators, dethatchers, overseeders and sod cutters that serve the landscaping and turf care industry.
JT Turf have had a lot of success creating a market for Ryan products which is synonymous with sod cutting and aerating (Renovair – a tumble corer that is used on golf courses and sports alike).
JT Turf has enjoyed the quality of machine that Ryan continues to manufacture and have had no problems with supporting these machines after the initial sales process has been completed.
